The UCF Knights are making waves as they head to the NCAA Tournament in their debut season as a Big 12 team! This marks their first tournament appearance in seven years, a milestone achieved under the leadership of first-year coach Rich Wallace.

The Knights will be competing in the regional tournament this weekend in Tallahassee, their 13th overall and ninth in the Tallahassee Regional. UCF, seeded third, is set to clash with the No. 2 seed Alabama at 6 p.m. this Friday at Florida State University. This high-stakes game will determine who advances to face the winner of the No. 1 FSU vs. No. 4 Stetson match-up at 5 p.m. on Saturday, in a double-elimination format.

Recently, the Knights showcased their prowess by reaching the semifinals of the Big 12 Baseball Championship, although they were eventually bested by Oklahoma State with a score of 10-1. UCF finished the championship with a commendable record of 2-1, including victories over Cincinnati and Oklahoma State.

All eyes are now on the NCAA Tournament, which will conclude with the Men’s College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska, from June 14-23. Fans eager to support the Knights can purchase tickets for the Tallahassee Regional now. General admission tickets are also an option for those looking to join the excitement.
