Due to what is currently Category 1 Hurricane Helene, UCF has made the decision to cancel class for all students on Thursday September 26th. From Wednesday the 26th at 11:59 to Friday the 27th at 6am, in person classes, online classes, and campus operations will be suspended. Saturday’s football game against Colorado is still scheduled to happen. Knight News will continue to monitor the storm and provide updates when they come.
The Storm’s Path
Although it is projected to just pass by Tampa, University of Tampa students have been ordered to evacuate. Up on the panhandle, FSU has cancelled class from Wednesday to Sunday, as the storm is projected to impact that area.
