Florida Republican gubernatorial candidate James Fishback is set to return to UCF’s campus next week, according to a post made by UCF College Republicans on Wednesday.

The event will be held in the College of Sciences building at 5 p.m. on April 23, according to the post. The event is free to attend.

Fishback visited UCF in February during the earlier stages of his campaign in a meeting promoted by UCF’s Turning Point USA chapter. Over 100 people attended the event outside of the Student Union.

According to his campaign page, Fishback is “fighting so every Floridian can earn a great-paying job, buy a home, raise a family, and retire with dignity.” In his last visit, Fishback highlighted his goals to make living more affordable for students after they graduate.

Florida Republican primary elections will be held on August 18.
