Yesterday evening, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department arrested Charles Dessus, 18, in relation to the shooting death of Brandon Benjamin. Dessus was charged with first degree murder with a firearm.
Today, Dessus made his first court appearance at the Orange County Jail. He was given no bond and ordered not to talk to the witnesses to the murder that took place at The Gatherings Apartments complex a couple miles west of the UCF campus.
