UCF won in walk-off fashion vs the Cincinnati Bearcats, keeping them in the hunt for the Conference title.
On Wednesday night the Knights faced off against the number 4 seed Cincinnati Bearcats for their second game of the conference tournament.
The Bearcats jumped out to an early 3-0 lead after a two-RBI single by senior catcher Woody Wallace in the top of fifth inning.
The end looked near for the Knights until a late seventh inning RBI single scored 3 for the knights and put them back in the game.
From there the Knights managed to match the Bearcats run for run, until the bottom of the tenth inning when pinch hitter Brooks Morgan hit a walk-off home run to seal the game for the Knights with a final score of 7-6.
The win for the game was awarded to UCF’s Harrison Hukari, while Cincinnati’s AJ Coleman was dealt the loss.
