A plane full of University of Central Florida students and alumni took off from Orlando International Airport Friday and saw an excited cabin prepare for the game day experience at the University of Michigan.
Word from friends flying other airlines from Orlando International (MCO) told the same story – full planes filled with fans in UCF gear, from friends making the trip together to families who travel to see UCF play away games across the country. Planes out of Tampa and Ft. Lauderdale saw plenty of UCF fans head to Michigan. UCF College of Business dean Paul Jarley joined fans in an early morning flight.

Jeremy Tache, a University of Central Florida student, made the trip from Orlando to Ann Arbor, Michigan to visit friends at the University of Michigan ahead of the September 10 game.
Tache and his friend Danny Worth, a student at UMICH, gave their takes on the game day experience and how UCF will hold up against the Wolverines when noon hits on Saturday.
The expected attendance is in the triple digits, at 107,000.
We reached out to The Michigan Daily campus newspaper for a Q&A ahead of the game where the sights are set high for the Wolverines going into the season. UCF’s greatest chances go against uncertainties in the relatively inexperienced Wolverines linebackers, while areas to hold Michigan would fall into the defensive line.
Knights head coach Scott Frost hopes to keep gameplay fast-paced and tight, just enough to keep the ball moving down the field with the opposing defensive line held back long enough to complete the plays.
