Rush ends at 10 p.m. tonight — one hour earlier than on Wednesday and Thursday.

Fraternities have been working hard all week to recruit new pledge classes during the tough economic times.

Check out our Greek Guide below, and video coverage of the week’s events.

Feel free to comment on the video below if you’d like to tell us how rush is going for you, or for your fraternity.

Previous Story:The second night of fall fraternity rush starts tonight at 8 p.m., and KnightNews.com has the most complete coverage of the popular UCF tradition that draws thousands of students out to Greek Park and Lake Claire each year.

Although many fraternities have their own events prior to rush, the official formal rush period takes place from 8 p.m. until 11 p.m. Wednesday thru Friday.

If you’re interested in joining a fraternity, show up to Lake Claire as early as 8 p.m. to get properly registered with IFC, and then start walking around and checking out fraternities at their tents and houses on Greek Park to see where you fit in. The tents close by 11 p.m., so give yourself some time.

At each fraternity, you will meet different members and have a conversation about what you want out of Greek Life, and what you have to offer that fraternity. There is usually plenty of free food, and girls hanging around too, so the process is casual and relaxed.
