DEVELOPING: Voluntary Fraternity Suspension Lifted
UCF Greek Life — By Staff on October 1, 2009 at 3:07 pmKnightNews.com just received this e-mailed statement from Grant Heston of UCF’s News & Information Department:
“We value the scholarship, service and enthusiasm of our Greek community, and in light of the upcoming Family Weekend, UCF has lifted the voluntary suspension of new member activities. Fraternities have been reminded of conduct rules, and UCF will monitor the situation and revisit this decision if needed.
We continue to conduct a thorough, timely and fair review of the anonymous allegation.”
Heston also said UCF’s fraternity review is ongoing. Timely updates will be provided pending developments in the review process.

better watch out for family weekend festivities. any Alumnus of UCF can completely F * C K over the RSO they were once apart of.
Translation of news release from Grant Heston: “Holy S-Hitt, the rich parents/alumni are coming to campus and we’ve totally pissed off their kids with our ridiculously stupid actions, and so all anybody is gonna talk about on Family Weekend is how much UCF sucks, and theyre never gonna give us any more money. But hey, if any of the Greek parents start being all disorderly, we can just shut down their kids’ fraternity/sorority…. Lucky for us we shoved through that brand new student conduct rule earlier this week when nobody was looking, so we can suspend or kick out groups for a guest’s action even if group members had nothing to do with it..”
