UPDATE 9:32 A.M. WEDNESDAY:
Just hours after UCF police, FBI and other law enforcement officials questioned UCF student Cory Carr and then drove him off campus for a trip to the Orange County Jail, the man accused of threatening to blow up Classroom 1 and kill UCF students was back on campus.
Carr appeared on WKMG Local 6 Morning News in the same parking garage that was shutdown yesterday, searching for his car.
In the TV interview, he said he was out on bond, and claimed the whole incident was a big misunderstanding. He said he was sorry for the confusion.
It’s not clear if Carr was allowed to be back on campus after being arrested on charges of making a bomb threat, but he didn’t seem the least bit concerned about walking on UCF’s campus during the interview.
