Tim Tebow Cries, Facebook Group Ridicules Him
Football — By Staff on December 7, 2009 at 12:02 amOne day after Tebow’s tears swept the nation on national TV, they’re sweeping the Internet at unbelievable speeds.
The Facebook group devoted to making fun of Tim Tebow crying we first reported had just over 4,000 members yesterday, now has about 20,000 more — 23,479 members as of 10:56 p.m. Sunday to be exact.
The members of the group, called “I saw Tim Tebow cry and loved it,” are unforgiving to the legendary quarterback.
FSU fan Keith Helms wrote: “Felt bad for the guy… then remembered how they left him in on 4th down with minutes left in the game just so he could score one more touchdown (while beating us by 30 points). To hell with the Gators. GO SEMINOLES. Great job Bama!”
The growing group’s members are also posting dozens of pictures humiliating Tebow.

The Florida Gators perfect season ended Saturday during the SEC title game against the Alabama Crimson Tide — and legendary quarterback Tim Tebow couldn’t help but cry.

I truly take pleasure in the publish.Truly seeking onward to learn far more. Actually
@alex I’m sure that really true
Can’t trust people like Tebow who need wear their religion on their shoulder as he does. Like a lot of busted religious-right preachers, he is either hiding or over-compensating for something.
It’s not just the fact he was crying… I’ve seen many football players tear up.. It’s the fact that he just gave up. When it was pretty clear they could not win he just gave up.. He’s a soar loser. I didn’t even see him going over and congratulate the other team. He just made a bee line for the locker room. I’m sure he is a nice person but he needs to grow up and be mature when can’t get what he wants… like a little kid.
The NFL will eat him alive.
I think it’s expected of him because it was his last game…
However, I think the majority of the focus on it is aimed at the Gators and UF in general because it’s about time someone smashed them off their high horse. Sorry, UF isn’t all its cracked up to be. If you’re not a football player, a basketball player, or a medical student then you’re just a statistic to the school and mean nothing more.
And actually… UF’s medical school isn’t quite as competitive as it once was.
The only thing better than a Florida Gator suffering is when it is a Democrat and if you can get both at the same time it is orgasmic. I don’t know where Tebow falls on Politics but just saying that in general.
It’s been said already, but the whole “mocking Tebow’s tears” thing isn’t really about him. Really, Tebow’s an excellent football player and he deserves everything he’s earned. My point in mocking his tears is rubbing it in the face of the most douchebag fan nation in not only college football, but all of sports in general, the Gator Nation. UF fans are the bigggest bunch of pricks in the universe. Every time I hear a gator tell someone that the Boogeyman and Chuck Norris check under their beds for Tim Tebow at night, I want to punch someone in the face.
One thing I have noticed. No one hates you when your at the bottom. No one slams you when you are at the bottom. Sportsmanship is a class act. In competetion someone wins and someone loses. It’s just the way it is. I bleed blue and orange. I hated the loss, I have also competed at the game. Alabama played with a lot of heart and I hope they win the national title, they deserve it. What I can’t stand are all the piss ant, panty waists making classless fun of someone for whom they couldn’t carry a chin strap. It’s also interesting most of those comments come from people who couldn’t even make the team.
All of these other teams give Gators shit, we’re sorry we kick ass, sure we lost ONE game, but all of your haters have to admit, Tebow is a stand up guy, on and off the field win or lose. Losing a game is emotional. and he shouldn’t be made fun of for crying, it was his LAST game, that is a big one for football players. So much for an unbiased journalist.
As a bama fan that’s had to listen to a bunch of Gator crap, it’s nice to have something to rub in their face. It’s not really the act of Tebow crying, it’s the embodiment of Florida getting putting in it’s place after running up fifty point deficits and idol worshiping Tebow. They were anything but a class act. I’m not going to lie, there were bets in Tuscaloosa on whether he’d cry or not. That’s our satisfaction of winning, of revenge, and a return to the national championship game. Roll Tide!! Oh… And if you’re gonna cry, at least do it away from the cameras…
I know it’s emotional when I lose my keys…. and my bowel control
After playing cupcakes year in and out to up your record and stats and finally playing a good team and being owned and then crying about it. its like a kid getting a’s on his homework but fails all the tests and whines when he doesn’t get a good grade.
SHUT UP!!!!!! ITS EMOTIONAL WHEN YOU LOSE A GAME AS A SENIOR!!! YOU WOULD TOO IF YOU WERE *FULLY* COMMITTED TO YOUR TEAM!!! UMMM… AND ARENT NEWSWRITERS SUPPOSED TO BE UNIASED!?!?!??!
