Man Toting 2 Guns Near UCF Arrested by OCSO

A man seen carrying a pair of firearms while walking around the Tanner Crossings neighborhood near the University of Central Florida this afternoon was taken into custody by Orange County deputy sheriffs, the Orlando Sentinel is reporting.

Cpl. Susan Soto said the Sheriff’s Office received calls from nervous residents just after 6:30 p.m. about the man at Shawn Circle. Authorities immediately closed off the subdivision to incoming traffic, the paper reported.

The man was then taken into custody.
