I’m pretty sure DJ Tiesto attracted more students than a Knight’s football game. No, I’m not sure, I’m positive.

Selling out the lower section of the area and most of the top, young adults from across the state fled to The UCF Arena to take a trip through a techno, dance frenzy. And thanks to Tiesto, their travels were well worth it.

Starting at 8 P.M., DJ Gina Turner started spinning until Tiesto’s 11 P.M. arrival. As he greeted the crowd, people freaked, I mean, FREAKED with happiness. Smiles crossed fan’s faces while their hips swung from side to side and their arms up and down. Water and confetti flew amongst the audience while screams echoed from their mouths. Apparently, everyone was excited.

Playing until the next morning, Tiesto put on quite a show. And I must admit, I wasn’t expecting him to be great; but he definitely proved me wrong. Whether it was his beats, light show or his engineered visual journey, Tiesto put on a rowdy production that touched the human’s five senses with complete bliss.

With the growing house/electro genre sweeping the nation, I’m happy to say Tiesto is in the forefront. Clearly, the DJ has a talented ear and a strong dedication to become one of the most popular DJs to ever exist.

Ending his Florida journey with a tweet reading, “Thank you so much Orlando!!! What a night!!!”, I can’t help but hope Tiesto will re-join the Ultra 2011 line-up so we can experience another “night” down in the city of Miami. But until then, it was fun, Tiesto. Thank you for a fantastic evening.
