Hard Losses: University of Central Florida SGA Presidential candidate, Anthony King, fell to
his knees on March 28, 2012. Once the historic election results were announced, Cortez Whatley
and his running mate, Rachel Brill, won the offices of SGA President and Vice-President for the
2012-2013 academic year with a 57.5% majority. More students voted in this election than at any
time in the university’s history. King was surrounded and comforted by campaign supporters and
