The bad blood rivalry between UCF and USF will resume Wednesday night at the CFE Arena at 7 p.m.

The Knights (7-5, 1-0 American) are coming off an astounding comeback win against Eastern Carolina on the road and will be seeking their first 2-0 conference start since the 2011-2012 season.

Wednesday’s matchup against the Bulls (3-12, 0-2 American) will be the first of two this season. Last season, both teams split, each winning on their home court. USF holds the all time series with a record of 22-7 against UCF.

UCF is 3-7 all time against USF when playing at home. The Bulls won the last meeting 74-45 at USF on March 4, 2015.

The Knights are shooting a consistent 74.0 percent from the free throw line this year. The school record for the team free throw percentage is 76.1 percent which was recorded in the 1975-76 season.

Freshman Tacko Fall ranks 27th in the nation and first in the American Conference in blocks per game with 2.42.

Fall is also shooting 73.8 percent from the field, which would rank first in the NCAA if he averaged the minimum of 5 buckets per game. Fall is currently averaging 3.75 baskets per game.
