With the 2016 football season in the books, UCF now looks forward to the 2017 season. But Knight fans can expect to see some changes in 2017.
The biggest change will be the impact tickets will have on the wallet.
For those who do not own season tickets, fans can expect to see a $20 increase in price. Last year, fans could see a game by spending $25, but in 2017 the cheapest tickets will be available for $45, the Orlando Sentinel reported. The University is doing this in an effort to get more fans to spring for those season tickets.
But Knight fans will be able to see where their money is going, as UCF will be making several improvements to Bright House Stadium.
The first of these improvements will be an increase of premium seating. Athletic Director Danny White announced UCF’s plans to add 18 cabanas to each of the end zones.
The student section will also be expanded to both end zones for the 2017 season, and will also be located right next to the family section.
UCF will also be offering a family plan for those who wish to acquire season tickets. For a price of $299, fans can purchase season tickets for two adults and two children. Those who do purchase those tickets will be getting more bang for their buck as well, as the Knights will play seven games at home this year compared to the usual six.
The 2017 season will kickoff at home on Saturday, September 2. The Knights will face off against the FIU Golden Panthers.
