UCF released it’s 2011-12 football schedule Thursday afternoon.

Eight of the Knights opponents played in a bowl game in 2010.

The Knights will open the 2011 campaign with back-to-back home against Charleston Southern on Sept. 3 and Boston College on Sept. 10.

UCF will then hit the road to take on FIU on Sept. 17 and then a Friday night game against BYU on Sept. 23.

The Knights will then open up conference play at home against Marshall on Oct. 8, then hit the road to take on SMU and UAB on the road on Oct. 15 and Oct. 22, respectively.

Homecoming week will be highlighted by a game against Memphis on Oct. 29. That game is followed by a homecontest against Tulsa on Nov. 5.

UCF will then have three tough contests to end the year as they travel to take on Southern Miss and ECU in back-to-back weeks and then ends the regular season at home against UTEP for senior day.
