The UCF football team announced Wednesday that 19 players have signed National Letters of Intent or financial aid agreements to join the Knights for the 2013 campaign.
Three members of the signing class are already enrolled as quarterbacks Pete DiNovo (Tarpon Springs, Fla.) and Justin Holman (Stone Mountain, Ga.) as well as defensive back D.J. Killings (Jacksonville, Fla.) will immediately see action in Black and Gold uniforms this spring, UCF Athletics says.
UCF’s will kick off their season against Akron Aug. 29, and will host South Carolina (Sept. 28) in non-conference play as well, marking the second-straight season the Knights welcome a SEC program to Bright House Networks Stadium.
The 2013 schedule also will be UCF’s inaugural season in the Big East as it will take on Connecticut, Houston, Rutgers and USF in Orlando, while it travels to Louisville, Memphis, SMU and Temple.
