Filling up the gas tank has gotten cheaper and cheaper in Orlando over the past couple of weeks.

Currently, gas is $2.95 at the Wawa and Racetrac by UCF main campus on University Boulevard–well below the current national average of $3.12, according to AAA.

According to GasBuddy.com, gas has steadily decreased every single day in the state of Florida since Oct. 2 and shows no signs of stopping.

Experts are saying the dip in prices simply has to do with the supply and demand of gas, as well as an increase in oil production across the world.

The state-wide average price for gas is expected to fall below $3.00 by December, which will be the first time since 2010.
