Alex and Sierra, the singing couple from UCF, are making it big.
Alex Kinsey and Sierra Deaton, both 22, are one of the final four contestant remaining on the hit singing show, “The “X Factor.” The couple, who has been dating for two years, both attended UCF. Sierra recently graduated with a degree in advertising and public relations while Alex is currently a senior who is taking a break from college.
The duo performed Destiny Child’s “Say My Name” and A Great Big World’s “Say Something” in Wednesday’s performance on the show — receiving universally positive feedback from the judges.
But the judge’s positive reactions weren’t the only good part.
On top of the move into the final round, the couple’s performance of “Say Something” was number one on iTunes.
“It was outstanding, it was beautiful, sincere, fantastic,” mentor and judge Simon Cowell said.
The winner of the X Factor will be named Dec. 19.
