An official ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Plaza on University’s Chicken Salad Chick, a fast-casual restaurant concept that was started by Kevin and Stacy Brown in 2008, headquartered out of Auburn, AL.
CSC offers guests a “custom fit” chicken salad experience with 15 original flavors to choose from, including side salads, gourmet soups, deli sandwiches and freshly baked desserts. Adam Reeves and his team opened their first location at the Plaza on University on September 2nd and plans to open another location in Lake Nona this coming spring with our 3rd location coming to Winter Park.
Chicken Salad Chick has recently been selected in Nations Restaurant News, a leading industry trade publication, as one of the 2015 Breakout Brands. In February, Cooking with Paula Deen Magazine named CSC as the best chicken salad in the south. It’s simply a southern classic!!
Chicken Salad Chick currently employs 30 UCF students and graduates that help give the store a very local feel. Located directly across the street from campus, CSC is a great choice for a quick and healthy meal. The staff invites you to come out tomorrow, Tuesday the 27th at 6:00 PM for the East Orlando Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting.
“We look forward to continuing to serve the people of Orlando the best chicken salad in the south. Come see us! We are open Monday through Saturday from 11:00 – 7:00″.
