UCF Men’s Basketball gets a crucial win at home, as they defeat the TCU Horned Frogs with the final score of 82-71. This snaps their three-game losing streak as they are officially heading to their final stretch of regular-season games.
It was a strong display of basketball by the Knights, as they had the lead from the start and never looked back. TCU would attempt to cut the deficit close during the last five minutes of the second half, but they were never able to reduce it to below five points.
Jordan Burks led the scoresheet for both teams with 23 points. For TCU, Micah Robinson led the team in points with 20.
The Knights appear to shake the jitters off in a much-needed win to improve to 18-7 overall and 7-6 in Big 12 play with only five games remaining in the regular season.
UCF will now travel to the state of Utah for a two-game road trip. First, they will take on the Utah Utes in Salt Lake City on February 21st. Then, they will head to Provo to face #23 BYU on February 24th.
