The Delta Zeta sorority will be leasing out the first floor of the Sigma Chi house for the 2013-2014 school year, according to UCF News and Information.

Sigma Chi was placed on suspension during the Spring 2013 semester after being found in-violation of hazing, disruptive conduct and alcohol-related misconduct by UCF’s Student Conduct Board. The suspension, which was supposed to last through Fall 2016, was reduced to Fall 2014 after a successful appeal by the fraternity.

The top floor of the house is currently under renovations and no members of the Delta Zeta sorority will be living in the house during the tenure of the lease.

“They are renting out the first floor for meetings. However, they will not be living in the house,” UCF Spokesman Chad Binette said.
