On Thursday, June 29, Kyoto Sushi and Grill closed in Knights Plaza on management decision as the lease for the business went up.
Knight News spoke with UCF News & Information for more on the closing and potential replacements for the restaurant.
“The university is in talks with a restaurant owner about leasing the space formerly occupied by Kyoto, but thereās no agreement yet,” UCF News & InformationĀ Assistant Director Mark Schlueb said.
UCF officials will provide an update on potential restaurant replacements as discussions move further along.
In other news, Subway has closed permanently and Qdoba, temporarily, as their leases in the Student Union expired.
Chick Fil A may see an expansion that will double the size of the restaurant.
